Robertson Neurological Rehabilitation Ward is a 20 bedded unit providing inpatient rehabilitation to patients suffering neurological illness and brain or spinal injury following a stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis or other neurological illness, based at Willesden Centre for Health & Care, NW10
We are looking for a newly qualified or experienced Deputy Ward Manager who is interested in developing their skills in rehabilitation, spinal injury management and much more. You will be working with an extensive multidisciplinary team comprising of medical staff, physio and occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and dietician to name just a few.
You will need to have a flexible approach, have an interest in rehabilitation, be able to act on your own initiative, communicate with a wide range of people and be flexible in your approach to change.
Car parking is available on site for the cost of a permit, and we have good transport links by bus with the jubilee line tube stations a 15 minute walk away.

• To be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.
• To work in a collaborative manner and liaise with other professionals and agencies to ensure a high quality service for patients.
• To lead and monitor the performance and work of the nursing team.
• To provide a stimulating environment for patients and carers.
• To ensure the effective running of the Ward in the absence of the Ward Manager.
